Plaster
Plaster adds beautiful texture and character to a space. Each type has its own base materials, giving it unique qualities and subtle differences in finish. We work with a range of plasters, including Venetian, Marmorino, and clay, and are happy to discuss which option best suits your project.
-
Venetian plaster is known for its mirror-like finish, achieved through its fine grain and layered application. Each thin coat must dry and be polished before the next, making the process time-intensive. Because of the skill and labour involved in achieving a high-grade finish, it’s considered a premium option and typically comes at a higher cost.

Marmorino creates a natural finish that resembles real stone, making it well-suited to rustic or traditional interiors. It’s less labour-intensive to apply than Venetian plaster, which makes it a more economical option while still offering a high-quality, textured look.

Ultra eco-friendly clay or Roman Clay is a great option for a finish imbued with subtle tonal changes and warmth. The final finish is more akin to limewash than stone or marble (like Marmorino and Venetian plaster) creating an earthy, modern aesthetic.
